Yasmin Ziaee is from Laurel, Maryland. She earned her bachelor degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland, and Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Howard University. Yasmin is Fluent in Farsi.
Yasmin is passionate about researching and providing culturally competent services to all of her clients, particularly children from low-income, multicultural communities. Yasmin works with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, language-based literacy disorders, fluency disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, social communication disorders (pragmatics), expressive/receptive language delays, memory and listening difficulties as well as reading and writing comprehension deficits. Yasmin has training in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets).
Yasmin is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in Maryland and DC.
