Keisha has an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. She began her career as a special education teacher and co-chair of an Autism program in Maryland before becoming a speech-language pathologist in 2010. While pursuing her speech-language therapy degree, she worked as an Autism therapist. She holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Howard University. Over the past 9 years, Keisha has spent much time alongside families advocating for their children’s educational and medical rights. She has a equal passion for teaching and speech language therapy.

Keisha has attended many trainings including Talk Tools as well as facilitated several trainings on topics such as Behavior Management, Understanding Language Development, and Navigating Related Services in Schools. Keisha has served as a Clinical Director in previous positions and has a wide range of exposure to a variety of communication disorders. She enjoys working with children of all ages.

Keisha is a homeschooling mom of 3 children ranging from ages 4-15. She and her husband reside in Maryland with their children. She enjoys traveling (especially if there is a beach involved!), watching her kids perform and play sports, and adult coloring books! She is licensed in MD, DC, and VA and is a member of American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA).
